What's New?

30-04-01 A new TTE section: Resources, where we'll try and put all the boring technical stuff that will however have you looking all over the place when you need it, like gearbox part numbers and turbo compressor maps, in one convenient place for you to access. Some of the stuff is new, some you might find elsewhere also - our objective is to bring as much relevant info as possible together on one site.

Likewise with the items I've added to the FAQ. None of it is strictly new, but it's darned handy to have it here anyway and I've tried to get into some more detail for those of us with non-technical backgrounds. I'm not an engineer myself, nor is English my first language - so if you feel something is wrong or confusing please tell me how to put it better...

Some new or updated links.

21-04-01    At last, the first NG 900 on the site: Maarten van Dorst's 900T added to the Member's Cars gallery. A few more links.

14-02-01    Picture of Wijnand Bakker's four-door 900T added to the Member's Cars page. Links to Daniel Ritter's new 9000 page and a cool Swedish 99 site. Both come warmly recommended by yours truly.

04-02-01 2001 Event Calendar added to the 'Events' section. Two dates to be found there now, more to come (hopefully)... Four new links at the 'Other Saab Homepages' section - making a total of over 70 on that page alone!

18-01-01 Some minor corrections to the 'Motorsport Gallery'. 'Links' and 'C900 Subwoofer' pages. Additional and highly interesting info in the APC section by Jari Madetoja from Finland.

17-01-01    A couple of great rally/autocross pics courtesy of Sarah K. Robinson, a long-standing Turbo! friend from the USA and an avid weekend racer (sorry, could not resist posting them to the site...). Lots of possibilities over there to compete in club motorsport events with your roadgoing car. Sigh... Also a link to video's of the 2000 Race of Champions, in which some big names went head to head using two 600 hp, AWD Saab 9-3 cars built by European Rallycross Champion Per Eklund. All on the Motorsport page.

How to build an audiophile-grade subwoofer box from your Classic 900's center console. Saves space and weightwhilst delivering the lowest octaves of the musical spectrum with stunning clarity and directness.

02-01-01    Even more links.

01-01-01    Updates to the kick panel instructions in the Car Audio sections, describing the insertion of steel rings for the mid/bass drivers in Saabine. Two pics of the Saab Turbo Challenge 900T8's ran by Abbott Racing during the late 80's.

30-12-00   Extensive updates to the APC page with new information added to reflect the debate going on regarding this subject. Makes matters less clear cut, but it does give a more accurate base on which you will have to make your own decisions. Added some more links: there are now well over 50 in the "Other Saab Homepages" section, making the change into a two-column layout and a slightly smaller font inevitable to give better overview and avoid having to scroll like crazy...

26-11-00    Added another batch of links, if only to show y'all that the TTE site is well being cared for... ;-)

24-11-00    Being a European-based group, it was about time this site got included in the (fairly new) TSP EU Saab Ring, so the webmaster got off his lazy a** and submitted it. Updated some links at the same occasion, and added some more.

29-10-00    At last! The lowdown on Saabine's 16 valve conversion in our 'Projects' section.

29-10-00    Some more links added, mostly personal Saab homepages.
