Eric van Spelde's 1985 900T 'Saabine'

Engine: 2.1 litre 16 valve conversion with custom 93 mm Mahle pistons (Gasparatos Automobile, Hamburg), balanced, lightened flywheel, rebuilt '87 16v head, LH 2.2 retrofitted, Trent Saab rising rate fuel pressure regulator, 5th injector, Bosch CI fuel pump with fuel accumulator, low pressure water injection on intercooler outlet, watercooled turbo retrofit, Gasparatos Automobile modified Garrett T03 turbocharger, APC tweak, intake pipes from 89-on 900T16, Trent Saab Group A athmospheric dump valve, retrofitted Saab intercooler with Trent Saab fancooler kit, Trent Saab aerospace grade PCV valve, Simota cone air filter, 2.5" Simons exhaust system. Goodridge stainless steel braided fuel lines, Samco silicone hose for dump valve, auxiliary air valve and turbo coolant supply line. Silicone vacuum hoses on APC solenoid.

Suspension and brakes: Merwede lowering springs, Koni shocks. Grooved Tar.Ox brake discs at front. Goodridge teflon/stainless steel brake lines. Dunlop SP 9000 205/55 ZR 15 tyres on stock 5.5x15" alloy rims.

Bodywork and interior: Colorcoded Saab accessory fender flares, color coded grille from non-turbo with aluminium wire mesh, debadged. Walnut dash from 1986 900 Commander, wood shift knob, leather three-spoke Saab/Momo steering wheel with burgundy/tan insert, tan artificial leather shift boot, Saab voltmeter and oil pressure guage in custom bracket. Waeco Magic Clear rain sensor. Plastic center console pieces color coördinated with radio faceplate. High end audio system: Kenwood PS 909 CD head unit, three Genesis class A amplifiers, Inside Audio 4" midwoofers and  Infinity Beta One tweeters in kickpanel mounts, 8" Rockford Fosgate subwoofer in vented enclosure in center console. Optima Red Top 925 CA battery.

Engine: Jamex air filter, APC tweak, Simons 2.5" exhaust system

Suspension: Merwede springs, Koni shocks, Saab torsion bars front and rear

Interior: Wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel, car audio always under development...

 

Thaddäus Delebinski's '88 900T16S

Engine: Engine and drivetrain out of '89 900T16S (with just 50,000 kms...), Bosch LH 2.2 injection with 3.0 bar fuel pressure regulator.

Wheels: 17" AZEV A (at least, that's what they look like to me. Eric)

Left, '83 900T with Saab Airflow kit and five-spoke rims of unknown origin (they're Fittipaldi's, actually - Bart). Right, '85 900T16 with Saab Airflow kit and Aero rims. Glenn and Doris bought this car brand new.

Goldie, the only right hand drive Saab in the Ellis collection. '87 900T8v (intercooled, 155 hp) with Abbott Racing springs and Saab Silver Spoke alloys. I bet Glenn wishes to keep the names of the models classified... ;-)

 

Richie Delebinski's '91 900T Monte Carlo convertible

Look closely and you'll see Richard Delebinski's convertible sits lower than last time 'round thanks to shortened Aero springs

Engine: 185 hp Saab tuning kit ('Red Box' APC, ignition distributor with altered advance/retard curve, 3.0 bar fuel pressure regulator), APC modified (max boost about 1/2 into the red zone), K&N sports air filter with modified airbox, custom exhaust by Dream Pipes (comes with lifetime warranty)

Suspension: Aero/T16S shocks (Sachs), shortened Aero springs on front, Borbet 7.5 x 16" wheels with Goodyear GSD+ 205/50 VR 16 tyres.

#96 of 350 Monte Carlo edition 900T convertibles made, bought in 1998 in Berlin, only 95,000 kms on the odo yet...

 

...And the 2nd Saab in Dr. Delebinski's family...

Isn't that a Simons exhaust peeking out from underneath this 900T16S' rear end? Thought so. Cool... Colorcoded side mirrors and vent covers help, too.
