| Some of the spacious Priest Kangaroos were retained by Canadian armoured regiments as a very basic form of tracked armoured command post. This one is seen moving through a Dutch town, followed by a Ram Kangaroo. It still sports the Additional Armour which was added to the hull sides when it was still a Priest SP gun. Note the amount of gear stowed on the rear deck! |
| The Kangaroo concept was adopted in Italy as well. In early 1945, because of a shortage of suitable Shermans, 102 Priest SP Guns were converted to troop carriers. |
