The Priest Kangaroo
(Public Archives of Canada)
M7 Priest Kangaroos formed up with infantry prior to the 3rd Canadian Infantry Division attack on Boulogne, 17 September, 1944. The Priest Kangaroos still lack the M2 .50 cal HMG, and are sporting their original artillery tactical signs. Behind the M7s are M10 3" SP anti-tank guns.
Note that these Priest Kangaroos retained the Additional Armour bolted to the hull sides of Priest SP Guns. The vertical strip running along the top edge of the hull front is part of the deep wading kit.
Both types of bogies can be seen fitted in this picture.
