The ability to chat to total strangers on the other side of the planet

about weird, obscure hobbies that normal people aren't interested in.
The ability to download flashy screen savers to impress their freinds....

(or rather people they know, freinds is going a bit far) and to download as

much 'free software' as possible, despite the fact that they haven't got a

clue as to how it works.
The ability to send 'free' electronic greetings cards so that they don't have

to pay any money...tight fisted gits...they won't invest a cent in new IT.
