Mugling's numerous restaurants spread out alongside the Prithvi highway are the favourite tea-meal stop for traffic between Kathmandu and Pokhara.

For us it was also a hotel for the night and we spent our evening sitting on our hotel balcony.  From there we had a clear view over Mugling's main street - an energetic place with a constant stream of busses and trucks stopping for a well-deserved rest.
