Some years ago I saw a slide show over Nepal.  The image that fascinated me most was of Swayambhunath - the monkey temple; a place so exotic and different from everything that I knew in Seattle.  Right then I resolved to one day go see it.

Years later Paul and I arrived there at dawn while Nepalese pilgrims circled the stupa.  It was even better than I expected.
