Autumn arrived early that year in Silverton.  That meant not only beautiful fall colours, but also freezing night time temperatures.

Breakfast became the chance to warm up with unlimited coffee, pancakes and the waitress's semi-innocent remark of  "Did you guys sleep well in your tent last night?"
