Stopping for a break, this pilgrim was traveling from San Diego to Seattle.  It was his 6th cross and he had already walked 5,000 miles.

He told us that he expects Jesus Christ to come soon, there will be more plagues and that American prophets had foretold the flooding in the Midwest (of the Mississippi river).

He then filled his water bottle, heaved the cross on his shoulder and took off northwards.
