We ordered coffee and 2 "breakfast for the small appetite"; just 1 sausage, bacon strip, egg and 2 pancakes.

The waitress looked at us and remarked, "You guys aren't from around here are you?"

By the time we finished our small breakfasts we knew Dave and Jim.  They were two regular customers who had quite definite opinions over republicans, local politics and even the weather.
