Hans Vinkenborg (e-mail: j.a.vinkenborg @ freeler.nl) from The Netherlands is looking for all kinds of special material regarding the Spanish Antilles till 1898 (Cuba, Puerto Rico). In particular Puerto Rican stamps with legible town cancellations are welcome. Also other interesting cancellations on stamps or covers or postal stationary items. He is further looking for fiscal items with stamps, specially when the fiscal stamps on the item have been replaced or additioned by postal stamps. Also 'papel sellado' and 'papel timbrado'. Moreover, he collects labels from the Spanish American War period (1898/99) and he still misses a few of those. Any offer is most welcome ! Lastly, Hans has a large forgery reference collection of the area. If you have any item for sale, please let him know. In particular postal forgeries are very welcome!
OFFER: If you collect Puerto Rico or Cuba till 1898 and you still miss any stamps, then send him an e.mail listing what you are still missing and he will check to see if he can help you. The prices are quite reasonable !!
