Sligo
We arrive in Sligo in the afternoon.
At the Tourist Information we gather some information and we book a room.
We have an evening walk along Lough Gill.

Friday, July 7th 2000

We go by bus to Strandhill and have a walk in the dunes and along the beach.

Saturday, July 8th 2000

We book a room in another B&B because our first B&B booked the room the coming night with football fans.
The rest of the day we spend shopping in Sligo. .

Sunday, July 9th 2000

We go to Queen Maeve's grave. She is the mythical Queen from the Iron Age.
Now and then it is raining. On top of the hill with Queen Maeve's grave the visibility is nil because of the fog.

On the way back the sky clears and we see the Cairn of Queen Maeve's grave on top of the hill. Now the other name: Queen Maeve's Tit for this place is obvious.
