The powerboost consists of nothing more that a capacitor. This capacitor
is charged to the track voltage
and will give his current when the voltage of the powersupply drops
because of the car accelerating.
This means that you will have a more stable power supply to the track,
the capacitor will re-charge
when the car is not accelerating.
Using this also helps to give you a beter stabelized power output from
the powersupply.
You can apply this to your own powersupply by :
Go to an elektronics shop and buy a 470uF 63v Electrolitical Capacitor
the ones with a + AND - pin on them. Attach this capacitor to the
output of your powersupply + of the capacitor to the + of the powersupply,
- of the capacitor to the - of the powersupply.
