Dan Mosgaard is also creating some software in Quickbasic for lapcounting and
timing. He uses the deadstrip stuff and some relais to get the info to the parallel

Virtual Timing Program is a Shareware program that is free downloadable from their
website. By the looks of it, it seems really nice, there is also some hardware info on
their page, visit it at Virtual Timing Software
When designing a new track layout with just paper ect.. It will take a long time to
come up with a good design. There is some good software around can be used
for just this purpose, design the perfect layout. The software is Called Tracker and
is made by Edwin. It is commercial software :-( but very good. He is also working
on his own laptime software ect.. Because i quote
" I wrote the program of the lap
timer myself as most laptimer software
found on the web did not meet my expectations..." So keep an eye
