--------GAME PORT USED TO SUPPLY THE +5v Voltage--------- --------------------------------------------------------- Instead of buying an adapter to give you a 5v DC power supply, you can use the power which is available on the gameport outlet on your PC. Wire the following in parallel : PIN 1 - PIN 8 - PIN 9 - PIN 15 : these four are your +5v DC Wiring these in parallel gives you the advantage that the current that is drawn from the port is shared between those pins. PIN 4 - PIN 5 - PIN 12 : these three give you the GND or - wire. The gameport is a 15 PIn sub d type connector on the back of your PC. Since the current requirements for the hardware with LDR's and IC are very low, this should work with no problems at all. DO this at your own risk, remember if your not sure, use a separate adapter to supply the voltage that's the safest thing.
