Symposium 'Quaternary malacology. New developments in palaeoecology and biostratigraphy'

This symposium will be organised in co-operation with Naturalis (National Museum of Natural History in Leiden, The Netherlands)
and will take place during the World Congress of Malacology - Antwerp, Belgium 15 - 20 July 2007.
The aim is to include contributions from both the marine and non-marine realms and to cover a broad geographical area encompassing the North
Atlantic and the whole of the Palaearctic region. Contributions are welcomed from the Plio-Pleistocene to the Holocene. Likely themes could
involve historical biogeography, environmental archaeology, palaeoecology and stratigraphy.
A first anouncement has been sent 22 December 2006 by email to members of the group, followed by another message dating from 19 April 2007.
Reduced registration to the congress was possible until 30 April. Registration and submission of abstracts is possible until 31 May 2007.
