Computer scientist with a preference for evolutionary computation. Master
thesis in artificial life. Current interest lies in the theoretical aspects
of different evolutionary algorithms, and their combinations with neural networks and statistical methods.

Deep interest in complex systems such as living organisms or real-world robots.
The challenge is to model them simply but faithfully representing relevant
aspects. Less is more.

Background: 12 years of industrial experience in software engineering and
project management. Ph.D. thesis in classifications for bioinformatics nearing
completion. Currently doing mathematics and programming for orthopaedics.
