Umm Ali

 

This desert was first observed by the Sinaiproject'94 in Cairo. Here follows the recepy:

It consists of a pastry:
1 sheet of frozen puff pastry, defrosted (bladerdeeg)
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup chopped bleached almonds
1/2 cup chopped unsalted roasted pistachios
and a table spoon of grated coconut

 The cream:
A can of sweetend milk
Same amount of normal milk

Roast the walnuts, almonds and pistachios
Bake the pastry in a oven till it is light brown and crispy
Mix the sweetend and normal milk
Crumble the pastry and put it in a ovendish together with the walnuts, almonds, pistachios, raisins and coconut.
Poor the milk over the 'goodies'
Put in a oven at 200 C for 25-30 minutes.
And now, eat it!
