Pourtet de Heche (2524m)

Een moeizame tocht over blokkenterrein loopt vanaf de Lacs de Houns de Heche (2213m) naar het Pourtet de Heche. Let op: de Pourtet de Heche is eigenlijk het laagste punt in de overgang op 2476m. Wanneer het pad onder de sneeuw verdwijnt heb je al snel de neiging hier naar toe te lopen. Vanaf dit punt is de afdaling over losliggend puin echter zeer riskant. De juiste overgang ligt wat meer naar links, hoger over de rotsen. Eerst volgt een traverse (foto), dan een nog altijd steile afdaling door puin naar het punt waar de paden naar de Port de la Peyre St.Martin en Col de Cambales samenkomen. Op de achtergrond Gavizo Cristail (2890m), Crete du Diable, en Pic Soulano (2919m).

An uncomfortable journey through boulder fields leads from the Lacs de Houns de Heche (2213m) to the Pourtet de Heche. Be careful: the Pourtet de Heche is in fact the lowest point in the crossing on 2476m. When the path is covered with snow, one tends to head for this lowest point. From this point the descent is very dangerous. The correct crossing lies more to the left, higher over some rocks. Next is a traverse (photo), followed by a desecent which is still tricky. It leads to the point where the point where the paths to the Port de la Peyre St. Martin and Col de Cambales join. In the background Gavizo Cristail (2890m), Crete du Diable, and Pic Soulano (2919m).
