Col des Mulets (2591m)
De foto is genomen in onderste deel van de klim vanaf de Ref. des Oulettes. Overgemarkeerd. In het laatste deel van de klim loopt het pad over de rotsen links van het sneeuwveld, maar met stijgijzers kan de col ook direct worden bereikt. Aan de andere kant volgt een afdaling naar het dal van de Rio Ara, of, gebruikelijker, een traverse naar de Col d'Arratille.
Photo taken in the lower part of the ascent, coming from the Ref. des Oulettes. Marks are overdone. In the higher part of the ascent the marked track continues over the rocks on the left of a snow field, but using crampons the col can be arrived at directly as well. On the other side: descend to the Rio Ara valley, or, more common, make a traverse to the Col d'Arratille.
