Cabane de Matte (1455m)
De cabane de Matte is een van de vele kleine onbemande hutjes in en rond het Parc Nacional. Gewoonlijk zijn er 4 tot 8 slaapplaatsen op een plank al dan niet voorzien van een schuimrubber matras. Eind september (1996) hoefden we ze met niemand te delen. Cabane de Matte ligt in het dal van de Barrada, en is makkelijk vanuit Pragnères te bereiken. Alternatief: vanaf Gèdre, over de Col de Ripeyre. Vanaf de Cabane de Matte verder richting col des Lis (Lits).
The cabane the Matte is one of many small unguarded huts in and around the Parc Nacional. Usually they can house 4 to 8, offering a place to sleep on a wooden board, with or without a matress. By the end of September (1996) there was no one to share them with. Cabane de Matte is situated in the Barrada valley, which has easy acces from Pragnères. Alternatively it can be reached from Gèdre via the Col de Ripeyre. From Cabane de Matte might head for the col des Lis (Lits).
