Cirque d'Estaubé vanaf de/from the Hourquette d'Alans
Op ca. 2 uur vanaf de refuge des Espuguettes wordt de Hourquette d'Alans bereikt. Vanaf hier heb je een prachtig uitzicht op de wanden van het Cirque d'Estaubé, en de Port Neuf de Pinède, een 2466 m hoge overgang naar Spanje (midden op de foto). Afdalen naar het de Vallée d'Estaube, met prima kampeerplekjes bij de gelijknamige cabane.
Following a 2 hrs ascent from the refuge des Espuguettes the Hourquette d'Alans is reached. Offers a splendid view on the walls of the Cirque d'Estaubé, and the Port Neuf de Pinède, a 2466 m high pass to Spain (centre of the photo). Descent to the Estaube valley, with fine camping spots near the Cabane d'Estaubé.
