RMS Titanic Memorial

Monuments are erected to commemorate those, who did great things, lost their lives for a great course, or died by error of another human being.

When RMS Titanic set sail for New York on April 11, 1912 with 2250 passengers and crew on board, apart from those, who said had premonitions about the voyage, nobody else would have believed what was in stock for them. Travelling on board a passengerliner of that magnitude especially in those days was not just challenging it was exciting, which was what survivors said. She was called a Floating Palace and being at the party that night must have felt like paradise, followed by hell after the collision with the iceberg.

For a small period of time RMS Titanic was the largest moving object ever made by the hands of man. However these hands could not prevent her from sinking and saving the lives of 1523 men, women and children. The names of those who went down are listed and reflecting their image from the monuments towards eternity. For the living not to forget what happened in the North Atlantic and maybe to remember that we are not the ones, who decide.
To all those who died during that disastrous night in the North Atlantic.
