What is Pokémon ? Mmmm, no that's not right. What are Pokémon ? Yes that's better.

Pokémon stands for Pocket Monsters, originated from Japan, where is has become an enormous success. Pokémon has been made up by Satoshi Tajiti, who invented a game in which 150 different creatures could be collected. Every one of these creatures had its own unique powrs and possibilities. These creatures could be captured and trained to fight against eachother, and win.
Fighting ? More violence, not for my children ! It's more than just fighting. To win a battle, the Pokémon must be trained. To train a Pokémon, so it becomes the best, you have to tread him with love, and look at him as if he were your companion, not your slave.
When you fail to do this, you will never win.
The Pokémontrainers train together with their Pokémon to become a Pokémon master (the best trainer in the world). This trainer will be selected as best trainer when he or she wins the Pokémon League. In order to be admitted to the league, the trainer must earn eight batches. Thes batches are to be won in gyms where the trainers compete with the owners of the gyms. Only when you tread your Pokémon with love and respect, one can be a Pokémon Master.
