Sohl Double
Situation:

Meaning:
The double shows that you intended to call 1ª too.
So you have a 4-card ª and you expect a Sohl rebid
S.O.S.-Redouble:
Situation:
Partner's overcall in the second hand has been doubled
Meaning:
Any other suit is probably better,
so next turn choose another one.
1NT-Redouble:
Situation:
Partner opened 1NT, which was doubled by the opponents in the second hand
Meaning:
Please make a relay, I am weak and I hold a long suit.

Double for Penalty:
Situation:
Usually when the opponents have reached the game
Meaning:
To penalize the opponents and so to obtain a better score
Commonly doubles on a lower level have some conventional meaning;

may be turned into a penalty double.
Lightner Slam-Double:

Situation:
