A NEW RELEASE from Yvert & Tellier
This new release "Tome de Référence des Catalogues" of Yvert & Tellier will enable you to identify the most anonymous stamps. 200,000 stamps, almost a third of the whole world’s stamps, have been reviewed from 1840 onwards. 6,000 inscriptions drawn up from captions, surtaxes and coins identified, are listed in alphabetical order. If you have the caption, the surtax, or any abbreviation used on a stamp, whether it is in Roman, Greek, Gaelic or Cyrillic characters, the alphabetical list will allow you to indentify the origin of your stamp. Once the stamp has been identified, this book indicates in which Yvert & Tellier catalogue the relative country is listed, with lots of additional information on that country.
