Bike tour
This bike tour goes through beautiful forests at "de Lage
Vuursche". You may visit Castle Groeneveld. You cycle through the Lage Vuursche and past pancake houses. You will also discover Pluismeer (lake) in the middle of the
forest.

Description of the Bike Tour:
- From the restaurant, turn left onto Eemweg
- Stay on Eemweg unfil BP gasstation, then turn right
- Cross Eemweg
- Follow bike path along Geerenweg until Shell gas station
- Continue on Geerenweg, past Shell station
- Before roundabout, turn left, direction Groeneveld
- Cross Amsterdamse Straatweg, then turn left
- 1st road to the right, direction Groeneveld, at ANWB “mushroom” (a small mushroom shaped signpost)

- Before Kasteel (castle) Groeneveld turn left
- 1st road (not little bridge) turn right direction Groeneveld
- At ANWB “mushroom” 24057 turn left direction Lage Vuursche
- Cross the railway and keep left
- At ANWB “mushroom” 24058, straight on, direction Lage Vuursche
- At “mushroom”24050 turn right, preliminary direction Hilversum
- After monestry “De Stad Gods”at “mushroom”21735 , cross over direction Lage Vuursche (dangerous cross over)
- At “mushroom” 20749, turn left direction Lage Vuursche
- At “mushroom”22088, straight on direction Lage Vuursche
- At “mushrooms”20894, 20038 and 20299 straight on direction Lage Vuursche
(left a small palace: erstwhile residence of Queen Beatrix where she raised her children)
- Ride into Dorpstraat and follow straight on
- At Vuursche Steeg, keep left and turn onto bike path
- At “mushroom”20562” turn left direction Baarn
(check out the observation platform at Pluismeer)
- At “mushroom” 20017, turn right direction Baarn
- Cross over a “right of way” road direction Bosbad (be careful)
- After Bosbad, turn right onto the bike path
- At the end of the bike path turn left at “mushroom” 24051
- Follow the bike path on the lefthandside, go under the viaduct
- End of the bike path, at “mushroom” 24054 turn left cross over the railway bridge
- After the railway bridge turn left and then right into Wilhelminalaan. Ride until the end.
- At “right of way” road (Eemnesserstraat) turn right
- First road to the left, Nachtegaallaan
- Second road to the right, Lindelaan
- End of the road left, Acacialaan
- At the cross over turn right, Zandvoortweg
- At crossover turn left (Goeman Borgesiuslaan) along sports centre De Trits (on your right) continue until Geerenweg
- Cross over Geerenweg en turn right
- At the end of the road, cross over Eemweg en turn left (be careful) onto the bike path
- On your right you will see Restaurant/Taveerne Eemlust again. You have returned to the starting point of the tour.
