Trix construction sets, Supplementary set Motosand
Introduction
The pipe dream of our Trixfrends, to set their build models - with the help of
Trix - in motion, we have realised now with the new Motosand supplementary set.
With this set - together with the common Trix sets - very instructive by sand
driven models can be build. One must pay attention, how the weight
of the falling sand causes the whipping motion, and how one can regulate
this motion by extending or shortening of the lever.
Moreover is shown, how an up and down going motion can be chanced into a
reciprocating motion.
141. Seesaw
This model shows us, how an as seesaw hanging lever is moving up and down by
sand, flowing out of a funnel.
149. Crankshaft model
This interesting model shows us, how the swinging movement of the
beam can be changed into a rotating movement by means of a crank.
